Balkan Riding Routes

Horseback riding routes across the Balkan

The overall objective of the project is to develop a new tourism product with the collaboration of two countries. As a specific goal of the project, we will develop the horseback riding path from Serbia to Bosnia and Herzegovina connected to the Via Dinarica. The horseback riding path involves more than 50 settlements in two countries. The specific goal of the project is to create a new tourism product of the two countries, which will attract more visitors and tourist to these regions. Furthermore, the cooperation of stakeholders from both sides will contribute to the familiarization of the regions cultural and natural heritage to domestic and foreign visitors. The other goal of this path is to provide opportunity for farmers, horse-breeding farms, equestrian centres and other individuals working with horses, who has no adequate income sources, to join this path and this way realise additional income based on their own endowments.
